Lutsen quietly boasts 23 tree skiing glades tucked across all four mountains. When lake-effect snow is falling, locals head for the terrain off the Timberwolf Chair on Moose Mountain, where perfectly pitched trees hold fresh turns long after the storm rolls through.

From the top of Eagle Mountain to the Summit Chalet deck, Lutsen serves up elevated vantage points with sweeping views of Lake Superior’s massive reach, the Sawtooth Mountains, and surrounding wilderness, making it one of the most visually striking ski areas in the North America.
