THE BEAST

Killington not only boasts the longest ski season in the east and the second tallest peak in Vermont, it's also home to the Audi FIS Ski World Cup. It’s no wonder this prominent New England resort has earned the moniker 'The Beast of the East.'

CONTEMPORARY CUISINE

Take romantic dining to another level with a trailside feast at Ledgewood Yurt. Enjoy a snowcat-drawn sleigh ride to the remote restaurant before stepping inside the charming structure—modeled after the homes of nomadic tribes in Mongolia over 2,000 years ago. Gather at family-style dining tables and indulge in five delectable courses including signature prime cuts of meat and local ingredients.

LIVING OLYMPIC HISTORY

Vermont reigns supreme in the east for Olympic glory, and visitors to Killington can get a dose of that fame when they learn to ski from an Olympic legend. Donna Weinbrecht, who won the first Olympic gold in freestyle skiing at the 1992 Olympics, still teaches ski camps at Killington.
