When the flakes are falling, head to the Weider Express in the North Area. It delivers the steepest runs that get even better with fresh powder—with fewer crowds than other areas of the resort.

Ice skating rinks are a familiar staple at many mountain resorts, but have you ever taken a spin on an ice skating loop? You can at Blue Mountain. Located at the top of the peak, the .7-mile skating loop offers stunning views of the Niagara Escarpment and Georgian Bay. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled afternoon on the ice, or come back after sunset for an illuminated skate on select nights.

Set your alarm clocks to sunrise for the Family Day Holiday in February. Blue Mountain hosts an annual sunrise ski when select lifts start turning as early as 6:30am.
