150 Miles

MORNING

Begin your adventure by flying into Spokane International Airport in Washington and renting an AWD car – essential for the snowy mountain roads ahead. The easy and flat scenic drive gets you to the Canadian border in no time – and you’ll likely be greeted with little-to-no wait times (don’t forget your passport). With the favorable exchange rate, a road trip to the border becomes refreshingly affordable, allowing you to spend more time exploring this unforgettable destination.

AFTERNOON

After hours cooped up travelling, RED’s 30+ miles of cross-country trails are a great option to get out there and enjoy the glide whilst taking in some superb views. Then soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a meal at Rafters, RED’s iconic top-floor bar, where après-ski hits a high note with lively vibes and Canadian classics like piping-hot poutine.

EVENING

If you’re staying in Rossland, plan your meals early as the town’s quaint charm often means quiet evenings – but with a variety of local dining options both in town and on the mountain (and a free ski bus operating between the two 7 days per week), there’s something for everyone. For the more adventurous, take an evening snowshoe trek to one of the cozy public cabins just 10 minutes from the mountain for magical self-planned drinks and dining.

MORNING

Ride RED’s legendary terrain of bottomless powder and sustained steeps all day. Discover endless stashes across four mountains, where the volcanic-shaped 360-degree descents and 3,000 vertical feet off Granite Mountain promise thrill at every turn. Paradise Chair is your ticket to playful tree runs and groomers to cruise. Motherlode Chair brings the heat with adrenaline-inducing gullies & the aptly named Powder Fields that’ll have you lapping it all day.

AFTERNOON

Make a pit stop at the new RED Mountain Tap House for a well-earned freshly made artisan pizza, salad, tasty beer pints and flights, and a warmup by the indoor fireplace or outdoor firepit.

EVENING

If you plan ahead, you can book a stay at the Constella Cabins for a night under the stars. Nestled on-mountain and in-bounds but far away from the base area creating a beautifully remote experience, this backcountry-inspired, lift-accessed only retreat includes your own private cabin, a hearty dinner and sets you up for the freshest untouched morning tracks, and a shared clubhouse for games, drinks, and community comradery. A bucket list item for sure.
